How it works

    Start a session. You get a short 6‑character code like X7K2QP. Share it however you like — text, email, DM.
  2. 02
    Your friend opens SemaBuzz and enters the code. A join request appears on your screen — you'll see an Accept or Deny prompt. Your session, your call.
  3. 03
    Start typing — they see it live. Every keystroke streams straight to them. Watch their reply appear letter by letter too. It's surprisingly addictive. Hit Buzz to shake their screen when you need their attention.
  4. 04
    Leave and it's gone. No chat history, no log, no trace. Each session is its own little moment — unless you've turned on the encrypted log in Pro.

Private by design

Your messages are encrypted on your device using ECDH P‑256 key exchange and AES‑256‑GCM. When you connect, SemaBuzz automatically tries to punch through your router and establish a direct peer-to-peer UDP link via STUN — the same technique used by video-call apps. If that succeeds, your traffic never touches the relay server at all. Only if a direct path isn’t possible (strict firewalls, CGNAT) does the relay step in as a fallback tunnel — and even then it only forwards ciphertext it cannot read.
